The following list of individuals and companies have been inducted into the prestigious Order of the Dweeb. They deserve one another's company.
2012-02-21 Cerrone's European / cerroneseuropean.com awcerrone@sbcglobal.net Insists on emailing to solicit reciprocal links (in an effort to increase traffic to their site), despite the fact that my contact page starts with a statement specicically stating I don't do reciprocal links. Here's your reciprocal link, dweeb! |
2009-08-03 Robert Percival robertpercival@eastlink.ca Nothing better to do than send me an email taking issue with the fact that I have a page outlining why I don't give purchase advice. |
2004-06-04 M. Sullivan msullivan@cislunar.net Nimrod who keeps sending PYLM messages in response to messages posted to discussion lists (i.e. not directly TO him). |
2004-05-06 Madlen Curtis / Steven Horowitz info@seospecialists.net Steven.Horowitz@seospecialists.net Dickweed spammer sending adverts for search engine optimization. Is himeself located in the USA, but gets his web hosting from Russia, apparently in an attempt to avoid spam laws affecting his web domain. |
2004-02 Patsy Lokensgard plokensgard@earthlink.net dlokensgard@earthlink.net Former admin of the J-L XJ40 list. Was at the core of a political infighting and then resigned. Departed from J-L, only to return later, and as a non-admin repeatedly acts as if she's still admin. She's been repeatedly abusive towards me offlist, ot the point that I now junk her email at my server to save the grief of reading it. |
2002-10 Henry J. Fok admin@jagsource.org admin@dallasdrivers.org admin@pendletoncapital.com 85xj6@dallasdrivers.org All-around nit who believes I'm responsible for what other people say about him. Please don't contact me about how to get in touch with him because he failed to ship something you paid him for. Please see this site for info. |
2002-08-23 Mark Otway mark@otway.com The operator of x-type.org - who chose to pop onto jag-lovers and SPAM it with adverts for his own site, but never showed his face for any other purpose. |
2002-06-21 Stephen Gibson steve.jaguar@ntlworld.com info@supercatjaguarspares.freeserve.co.uk A rather disagreeable fellow who chooses to argue stupid points and won't drop them - even as he continues to argue them offlist. |
2002-06-14 Chris ? lister101@directvinternet.com maills@directvinternet.com christky@bellatlantic.net chris101@directvinternet.com A troll I had to boot from the XJ-S list. He's imature, and a real dim bulb to boot. |
2002-04-12 Jamie Duffey nwjag@earthlink.net This bright bulb cleartext addressed over two dozen jag-lovers listers (as well as another two dozen addresses) with a financially-motivated propaganda chain letter (about boycotting certain oil companies because they buy Middle-Eastern oil). |
2002-02-24 Ed Jaunzemis / Moderustic, Inc. jaunzemis@hotmail.com jaunzemis@msn.com cjaunzemis@me.com jaunzemis@aol.com Ed@Moderustic.com Dweeb who abused the UPE which I administer. Posted several OBVIOUSLY commercial ads to the forum, which I deleted and disabled the account for. The next day, he spewed more, FOLLOWED by a nastygram bitching about his ads being deleted (in which he openly indicated that he was manufacturing what he was selling, but only selling at "$20 over cost", so somehow the "absolutely no commercial posts allowed" rule didn't apply to him), which were also summarily purged (along with disabling of that account). The NEXT day, while I was mulling over what to do to weed spamming morons like this out, he created yet ANOTHER account to spew with, this time not even bothering to use a VALID account - so I was clued into his return when the welcome message bounced. At which time I shut down open subscriptions on the UPE, which will inconvenience a lot of users. Here's his website if you care: http://www.moderustic.com |
2002-02-24 Jim Gilbert jagman@ev1.net Best described as an immature prick, Mr. Gilbert feels that his best way into the graces of the UPE admin is to post how there's all these commercial advertisers on the list - yet doesn't identify any of them or provide any supporting information about it. Just bitch, bitch, bitch... |
2002-02-24 Larry Springer jagware@erols.com This guy is a real winner. Posted that he felt I was misguided for having the non-commercial policy on the UPE, then went to far as to threaten me with "I'd like to tell you personally some day." Yes, Mr. Springer embodies almost everything about the type of commercial posters we obviously don't want on the UPE. He also complained about a commercial poster - identified a guy's email address and said he was commercial, and implied that I was running a doublestandard if I didn't boot the guy. Of course, he identified NOTHING about the guy to support his claim. It was a poster I had previously looked into, but the posts were consistent, and the guy didn't have a bunch of other posts. |
2002-02-21 aott@mindspring.com Commercial vendor who is spamming UPE users after reading their advertisements. |
2001-09-03 Drew Blank BDrewBlank@aol.com A frothing-at-the-mouth troublemaker ejected from the XJ-S list. Curiously, his final posts were only a week before World Trade Center atrocity. It can't be mere coindidence. |
2001-01-14 Herman Wermelink hermanwermelink@hotmail.com Idiot emailed the Jag-Lovers XJS list with a forward-upon-forward-upon-forward-etc spam, which had been addressed apparently to every address in his addressbook. |
2000-11-13 Paul Reynolds pereynolds@netscape.net Emailed me asking for assistance with problems he was having with his XJS headlamps. I replied with some information, and he replied to that with more questions - and with an apparently lousy mailer which didn't quote the original text (which he was thoughtful enough to NOT trim out), requiring that the entire reply be read line for line looking for the reply text. In my reply to him, in addition to the continuing diagnostic info, I pointed out that "your mailer sucks. I mean that in a friendly way...". To this, he retorted with a big spew, and how he had 20 years of ASE certitifed tech assistance at his disposal, etc (as if I had somehow questioned his technical ability - funny, when you consider that he's emailing someone he doesn't know out of the blue asking for technical assistance). |
2000-11-08 Michael Brown mistermichael@earthlink.net Twit on rgfd who seems to like to troll. |
2000-03-08 Carparts.com nomail@carparts.com The spammer to whom my mail address, as well as others, was provided by a well-meaning although misdirected, individual. |
2000-03-04 Jim Wood jasewood@juno.com Parted company with "go stuff it" Flamefest in a Jag-Lovers list over his posting in allcaps, and not liking people replying to him about his tone. |
2000-01-28 Graham Murray mcse@onr.com Off of a jag-lovers list. He's of the opinion he's smarter than everyone because (of all things), he has an MCSE. Kept posting requests for info on every little problem or query he had, but was patently unwilling to follow up on proffered advice or respond to the suggestions given. |
2000-01-28 Mike Kraus Mkraus@coolmail.com Putz from webdesign list - repeatedly flooded the list with unsubscribe requests - instead of following the URL to get to the unsub info, he posts his stuff as a QUOTED reply to another post... |
